HOT NEW MELBOURNE WEDDING VENUE – CHAPEL1885
Oh how we love discovering a new wedding space, so when came across hot new Melbourne venue Chapel1885, we knew we had to share it with you all.
Chapel1885, opened up in Sackville St Collingwood in January this year and is formerly a church designed in Gothic Revival style. In the space, exposed brick walls with a stunning timber ceiling handcrafted by 19th century shipbuilders combine with large arched windows that filled the interior with light, while intricately painted murals and statement chandeliers add the perfect finishing touch.
Earlier in the year a talented group of local wedding vendors worked together to bring the venue to life and showcase the unique bones of this divine chapel.
Striking the perfect balance of tradition and modernity, every aspect of the shoot was considered. From the dark moody imagery by Free The Bird Photography, fabulous florals that adorned the venue by Thrive Flowers, contemporary yet romantic gowns by Gwendolynne that were accompanied by handmade sustainable jewellery by Blackfinch Jewellery as well as all the finishing touches that were added to the venue and table styling concepst by The Small Things Co who enlisted the help of Valiant Events, Complete Function Hire and Table Art to add to all the darling details.
We hope you love this venue and shoot as much as we do.
